 2009 “Cops For Kids” Buddy Bass Tournament Press Release 

On May 5^th , 2009, The Missouri Water Patrol Association hosted the 5^th Annual “Cops For Kids” Buddy Bass Tournament on Table Rock Lake in  Kimberling City, MO.We had an excellent turn out of 165 Boats (330 anglers) with participants coming from over 7 states within the Midwest region.

 The tournament was able to make a donation of over $10,000 to the “Make-A-Wish Foundation”.

 The Grand Draw Prize of a pair of 2009 Arctic Cat 4x4 ATVs were won by:

Brad Handley and Wayne Youngblood of Green Forest, Arkansas.

 Congratulations to this year’s 1^st Place winners:

Tom Smith and Don Middleton of Arkansas caught a 5 fish limit that weighed in at   19.69 lbs

It was announced that next year’s fund raising event will be opened up to include all Dept. of  Public Safety employees.  The tournament will be limited to the first 250 boats.
