The Missouri Water Patrol Association hosted the 4^th annual “Cops For Kids” buddy bass tournament at Table Rock May 6^th 2008,  The event was held at the Port of Kimberling Marina in Kimberling City, Missouri.  The tournament field consisted of 159 boats and participants from 8 various states.  The winning weight of 17.26 Pounds ( 5 fish limit ) belong to Scott Sparkman of Nixa, Missouri and Jim Reeves from Rogersville, Missouri.   A fully rigged Nitro Z-6 bass boat and Mercury motor donated by Bass Pro shops, Tracker Marine Group, and Mercury Marine, was won by Joe Lane and Rusty Gill of Republic, Missouri as an attendance prize.  The Water Patrol Association was also able to make a charitable contribution of over $5,000 to the Make – A – Wish Foundation.  More information about the annual event as well as sponsorship information can be found at   http://www.missiouriwaterpatrolassociation.com
